Mekong Boat Races
Date: Tuesday 7th February 2012Boat races between teams from Thailand, Lao PDR, China and Myanmar are held annually on the Mekong River at Chiang Saen. This is part of the Songkran (Thai New Year) celebrations on 13-15 April.
