Chiang Saen Business Directory
Chiang Saen is an ancient town located on the banks of the Mekong River, approx 60 kms from Chiang Rai. The old city was known as Wiang Hiran Nakhon Ngoen Yang, it was the Lanna Kingdom's main town before King Mengrai established Chiang Rai as the capital in 1262. Traces of old double city walls and many other antiquities still remain in and outside Chiang Saen.
